Leslie holds her Doctorate of Musical Arts from UC Santa Barbara and is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music in New York City. She is an acclaimed performer and experienced educator, with a commitment to training skillful, thoughtful, and well-rounded musicians. She moved to New Orleans on New Year's Day of 2019, drawn to the city's rich musical culture and colorful lifestyle. Soon after, she joined the faculty of the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts and founded her own teaching studio in the Bywater.
